Inauguration of the office of "Bit Policing" at Joypurhat

Mr. Mohammad Salam Kabir (PPM), Hon'ble Superintendent of Police, Joypurhat District, inaugurated the "Bit Policing" office on Wednesday 12-07-2020 at 12.00 noon on the instructions of the Inspector General of Police (IGP) to deliver police services to the doorsteps of the people in Joypurhat.

The Superintendent of Police said the general public would easily get services from the BIT policing office. In addition, bit policing activities will play a helpful role in reducing the crime trend in the area including drugs and terrorism and keeping the law and order situation normal. He added that 44 bit policing offices will be set up in Joypurhat district. Police bit officers with the public will go through the full-time police service.

In Joypurhat, a mobile court has fined 15 people Tk 6,000 for violating health rules announced by the government to prevent corona virus. Wholesale fish and vegetable markets of Joypurhat Municipality have been shifted to more than one field to prevent corona infection. The fish and vegetable market has been sitting at Shanti Nagar High School Chattar and Government College Road in Joypurhat town since Tuesday (April 14) morning.Earlier on Monday (April 13), the mayor of Joypurhat Municipality, in order to ensure social distance, kept the wholesale fish market of Saheb Bazar in Joypurhat city at Shanti Nagar High School premises, vegetable wholesale market on College Road, retail vegetable and fish shop of East Bazar at a distance of 3 feet. Announced to sit on the college field.In this regard, the Mayor of Joypurhat Municipality Mostafizur Rahman said that the buyers and sellers have been requested to buy and sell by ensuring social distance in the announced new market. According to the constitutional obligation, the next session of Parliament must be held within 60 working days after the end of a session. In that case, the next session of the parliament will have to be held by April 18. Because the last, i.e. the sixth session of the current parliament ended on February 16. Due to this obligation, the regular session of the National Assembly will be held on April 18.
