Today is April 17. Historic Mujibnagar Day. A unique day in the history of Bangladesh's freedom struggle and liberation war.
During the war of liberation in 1971, the first provisional government of independent Bangladesh was officially sworn in on this day at Amrakan in Baidyanathtala, Meherpur. Later this Vaidyanathatala was named as the historical Mujibnagar.
This day has come in an unprecedented crisis. The novel Coronavirus, which has created panic all over the world, is forcing Bengalis to stay at home
